For us here at Mckendry Built, building is a passion, a passion built on doing things right the first time and efficiently. Mckendry built was established in 2019 by managing director Ritchie Mckendry. Ritchie spent his early days as a qualified boatbuilder, building anything from 16ft run abouts to 180ft super yachts. His skills learnt as a boat builder, has lead him to knowing the art of perfection and accepts nothing less. In 2012 Ritchie brought his talent to building, his skills were developed on renovations, new builds, and high end architectural homes. Now a qualified and licensed builder, Ritchie is ready to tackle all your building requirements.

Recent Projects

Full Internal renovation on a 60's bungalow
This lovely renovation brought this 60's home into the 21st century. The beautiful modern kitchen / laundry, a lovely new bathroom, and a wonderful tawa floor brought back to life was the perfect finishing touch.
Backyard Transformation
The addition of stairs from the deck really opened up the backyard for our client. We also added a new fence to keep the kids safe.
New Deck and Entrance
With entertaining in mind, we created this deck to cater for those needs, with the added stairs seamlessly connecting you to the backyard. Finished in vitex decking giving you the durability that only a hardwood timber can.
